Paul Van Nevel, a great lover of Lisbon, sets to music the Encompassing the Globe exhibition, which traces Portugal's global expansion. An indefatigable researcher, Van Nevel rescues from obscurity a number of vespers and lamentations by Joao Laurenço Rebelo that were published in Rome in 1657 at the request of his employer, John IV of Portugal.
