About the Event

“A woman must always fight,” Souad Massi told Le Monde. Since the French‐Algerian singer arrived in France 25 years ago, she has indeed fought resolutely throughout her career to uphold values such as freedom and equality. She is constantly seeking innovation and, in this new phase of her career, is enriching her music with fresh influences and an even broader sonic palette. In recent years, she has filled every hall at Bozar to capacity and now returns to the Henry Le Boeuf Hall, where she will present her new album Zagate (2026). Comparisons to Joan Baez and Tracy Chapman are not unfounded Souad Massi’s poetic folk‐rock style is marked by commitment and self‐reflection.
