Cathédrale Notre‐Dame de Paris
Paris, France
The architectural magnificence of the cathedral Notre‐Dame de Paris was elevated by sacred music. For centuries, those present at great historical events, religious services or public concerts were marvelled.
The sad fire of 2019 devastated the roof of the temple, but fortunately many parts, including its world‐famous organ, were saved. While the reconstruction of the cathedral of Paris lasts, magnificent concerts can be enjoyed in other historic churches of the French capital, such as La Sainte Chapelle, La Madeleine, Eglise Saint‐Sulpice, Saint-Étienne‐du‐Mont, Eglise Saint‐Séverin and Eglise Saint‐Eustache.
