Simon Oslender is a familiar face to festival audiences, having already performed here twice alongside Nils Landgren. Now, he returns to Dresden as part of the "Young Jazz im Zentralwerk" series. Oslender, a prodigious talent who began his professional career at just twelve years old, is considered one of the rising stars in the jazz scene. He has shared the stage and studio with renowned artists such as Wolfgang Haffner, Bill Evans, Randy Brecker, and Steve Gadd, to name a few. Collaborating with his equally gifted trio members, Claus Fischer on bass and Hendrik Smock on drums, Oslender showcases his exceptional skills with a captivating and grooving performance.
