Hear Händel's most famous oratorio, "The Messiah" as it was meant to be performed. Baroque music expert William Christie leads his legendary ensembl, Les Arts Florissants.

Händel's "Messiah" is one of the major works of sacred music in the Western World. With its rousing "Hallelujah" chorus and many well‐loved arias, it tells the story of the life of Christ, using mainly the prophets' texts from the Old Testament.
