Vilde Frang & Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra: Britten Tribute

About the Event

On the eve of Benjamin Britten’s centenary, Vasily Petrenko and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir present an anniversary tribute. The program ranges from the volcanic Sinfonia da Requiem, through the atmospheric Sea Interludes from Peter Grimes, to the joyous Hymn to St Cecilia.

Making her Liverpool debut, Vilde Frang joins the salute in the brooding wartime Violin Concerto.
