Valery Gergiev conducts the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra in a program that includes best‐known and lesser‐known works of the Russian repertoire.

Gergiev is known not only as one of today's leading conductors, but also for his support of young musicians. In this concert, one of the recent discoveries of the International Tchaikovsky Competition, pianist Sergei Redkin, will make his debut in Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini.
