Three Tales: Steve Reich 80th Birthday at Carnegie Hall

About the Event

One of the most influential composers of the late 20th century is turning eighty, and the celebration at Carnegie Hall features ICE (International Contemporary Ensemble), So Percussion, and Synergy Vocals, with David Robertson conducting.

Iconic composer Steve Reich's new work, 'Pulse', co‐commissioned by Carnegie Hall, will be premiered in his birthday concert. Reich's video opera, 'Three Tales', created with Beryl Korot, is on the second half of the program.
