The Demon: Gran Teatre del Liceu
About the Event
Expand your experience of Russian opera. Rarely seen outside its native land, Anton Rubinstein's opera comes to the Liceu with baritone Egils Siliņš in the title role.
Based on Lermontov's banned poem of the same name — a classic tale of the struggle between good and evil, purity and lascivious corruption — Rubinstein's work ranks among the most purely Romantic of Slavic operas. No operatic connoisseur should miss this exciting opportunity.
Practical Information
Please note: In some areas of the Gran Teatre del Liceu it is possible to be seated with a partially obstructed view of the stage.
