The Organ Tour to Freiberg revives a popular Festival tradition. The concert at the Freiberg Cathedral will be performed by two celebrated artists: the Hungarian Tamás Pálfalvi has made a name for himself as one of the most innovative and creative trumpet players of our times. He is joined at the famous Silbermann organ at the Cathedral by Christian Schmitt, a native of the Saarland who definitely knows how to pull out all the stops. This attractive duo will perform works by baroque masters such as Albinoni, Bach and Handel, the romantic composers Mendelssohn and Schubert and more contemporary sounds by the Swede Lindberg and the Czech Eben – an impressive musical experience is guaranteed!
