Hear the young Russian virtuoso Daniil Trifonov in one of the most famous works in the repertoire.

Lauded by world‐famous veteran piano superstar Martha Argerich as having "everything and more", Trifonov has already found a successful career around the world. He has won the Chopin, Rubinstein and Tchaikovsky international piano competitions.

In this concert, he performs Rachmaninov's famous 2nd piano concerto, accompanied by Gianandrea Noseda and the Wiener Symphoniker, who also perform a suite from another Russian: Rimsky‐Korsakov's Scheherezade.
