Experience the intimacy at the heart of a great string quartet, within the cosy confines of the Grünefeld Hall. This young French quartet, already stars of the international circuit, bring a program of Beethoven and Fauré to Stockholm.

A cheery early quartet, and the so‐called 'Harp' Quartet, named for the pizzicato section that evokes the characteristic sounds of that instrument, offer two different aspects of Beethoven's quartet writing. Blending Romantic and Expressionist styles, and drawing on apparently opposed esthetics, Fauré's String Quartet is a feast for the senses.
