In this highly‐anticipated concert, hear the mellifluous sounds of chamber music by Schubert, Shostakovich and Haydn at Barcelona's treasured and world‐renowned Palau de la Música Catalana.

The Quartet Casals performs at the Palau de la Musica de Catalunya. One of the great ensembles of Catalonia, with an impressive international career and the acclaim of audiences and critics. Quartet Casals has become a reference for a new generation of musicians.
 An example of their expressive and extraordinary music is Schubert's Der Tod und das Mädchen, one of the most beautiful string quartets ever written, based on a poem by Matthias Claudius about a dying young woman and her reaction to impending death.
