The organisers and Czech National Symphony Orchestra dramaturges picked this amazing project to help young and promising musicians displaying exceptional talent and determination.
The role of the Kalkant has played a key role producing the tones of the organ without an electric power source across centuries. And little needs to be said of the metaphor it represents – sometimes we all have to step on it.
