Prague Proms 2024: Hollywood Night

About the Event
The Czech National Symphony Orchestra has had the honor of hosting and performing almost thirty Hollywood Nights, where they were fortunate enough to meet and collaborate with various icons of film music. In September 2023, the orchestra decided to take a different approach by inviting their audience members to directly influence and co‐create the program for the upcoming Hollywood Night concert, which will be held as part of the prestigious Prague Proms festival.
Originally, the plan was to only implement the audience's suggestions in the first half of the concert. However, the orchestra was pleasantly surprised to receive an abundance of beautiful and innovative ideas from the collected responses. As a result, they made the decision to adapt the entire concert program and incorporate the titles suggested by the audience, complemented by a few of their own personal favorites.
Through this collaborative effort, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra is looking forward to creating a truly unique and special atmosphere in the esteemed Smetana Hall. They express their gratitude to their audience members for their valuable contributions.
