Opera stars Alexandrina Pendatchanska and Krassimira Stoyanova will perform in a concert version of Donizetti's "Maria Stuarda" in Munich.

Gaetano Donizetti's impressive music drama "Maria Stuarda" returns to the Munich stage with an impressive cast: Alexandrina Pendatchanska (who will take on the role of Elisabetta replacing Vesselina Kasarova who has taken ill) and Krassimira Stoyanova. They will be joined by the young American tenor Stephen Costello, who will be debuting in the role of Leicester.

The young and promising conductor Massimiliano Murrali will conduct the Munich Opera Orchestra and the Munich Opera Chorus.

The concert version of the opera will be performed in Italian with German surtitles.
