Pablo Sáinz Villegas is an ambassador of Spanish music which reaches new dimensions in his hands. This artist from La Rioja has received worldwide acknowledgement as the soul of the guitar.
For this his first performance at the Granada Festival he delves into the major music scores for this instrument paying tribute to its most notable composers. Through them he echoes a nationalist style which transcends frontiers and which has very close connections such as Recuerdos de la Alhambra by Tárrega, and works by the Granada composer Ángel Barrios which return with an emotional performance full of virtuoso playing.
