Orff's Carmina Burana: Budapest Spring Festival

About the Event

Percussionist Martin Grubinger and his Percussive Planet Ensemble join the ensemble performing a favorite of 20th century choral music, Carl Orff's dramatic "Carmina Burana".

Together with the Gumpoldskirchner Spatzen, the Kodály Choir Debrecen, and the Csokonai National Theatre Chorus, the percussionists will add a fresh perspective to Orff's well‐loved work.

Also on the program is Fazil Say's "The Bells" which was inspired by one of Americas greatest poets, Edgar Allan Poe.
