About the Event

After the successful debut with 'Luther Tanzt' in our program, the Playfords have put together a Christmas concert program this time. Under the title Nova! Nova! the ensemble has compiled its favourite Christmas songs from Spain, France, England and Germany. The old songs and sages with their promise of a new king resound in their timeless beauty. The Playfords have arranged the Christmas songs in a dancing, playful, but also contemplative and surprising way. In addition to unknown songs, there are also many often heard Christmas songs in a new guise. The ensemble The Playfords is supported in this program by the baroque violinist Claudia Mende.
