Noa Wildschut (violin) and her friends

About the Event

“A miracle of musicality: original, spontaneous and always free” wrote the Süddeutsche Zeitung about the Dutch violinist Noa Wildschut. She is only seventeen years old but has been known throughout the classical music world for many years. Her debut came at the age of seven in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam with a performance as part of “The Night of the Promising”, and in 2016 she became an ‘exclusive recording artist’ with Warner Classics. Wildschut is an in‐demand violinist at festivals, recitals and solo performances at home and abroad. She has played with such seasoned musicians as Anne‐Sophie Mutter, Janine Jansen, Menahem Pressler, Ramón Ortega and Vesko Eschkenazy. She has also performed with orchestras including the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Kremerata Baltica, Sinfonieorchester Basel, and the Orquestra Sinfônica Municipal de João Pessoa in Brazil. This Sunday, she is our guest at BOZAR with Danse macabre by Camille Saint‐Saëns.
