Xian Zhang conducts the National Orchestra of Belgium with a stellar ensemble of soloists, including Jörg Widmann, for a concert of works by Haydn and Widmann himself, along with the world premiere of a piece by Pierre Bartholomée.

The German clarinettist Jörg Widmann is artist in residence at the Bozar. During this concert, which begins with the world premiere of Pierre Bartholomée's 'Second Symphony (Andante ostinato)', Widmann will perform his work 'Elegie for Clarinet and Orchestra'. Two works written by Haydn during his stay in London, the Sinfonia Concertante Hob.I:105 and the Symphony, Hob. I:102, will complete the program.
