Matthias Goerne, a highly versatile and sought‐after baritone, is esteemed as one of the world's leading singers in his genre. He regularly performs at prestigious opera houses, concert halls, and renowned festivals, having collaborated extensively with esteemed conductors and orchestras from around the globe. The venue of Schauspielhaus in Dresden holds a unique significance for Goerne as his father, Dieter Görne, served as its intendant from 1990 to 2001 during the post‐reunification period. Joining him on stage will be Markus Hinterhäuser, an accomplished Austrian pianist and the intendant of the Salzburg Festival. The duo's longstanding collaboration has yielded exceptional musical experiences throughout the years.
