About the Event

Witness the Barcelona debut of young pianist Mariam Batsashvili, first prize‐winner at the 2014 International Franz Liszt Piano Competition, at the Emergents Music Festival.

Also on the program, the Barcelona Municipal Band is joined by Catalan cellist Òscar Alabau for the jazz‐crossover concerto by mythic composer Friedrich Gulda. Trombonist Peter Moore will also grace the stage. At 18, Moore is the youngest musician ever to become a member of the London Symphony Orchestra.
