About the Event
Experience the wide repertoire of conductor Leonard Slatkin when he leads cellist Jian Wang and the SSO in works by Cindy McTee, Shostakovich, Barber, and Ravel.
The concert is opened by McTee's contemporary piece Circuits and continues with Shostakovich's famous first Cello Concerto and Barber's first symphony, while Ravel's La Valse rounds off this evening's concert.
