Explore London's East End through one of its most infamous legends. An all‐star cast including Dame Josephine Barstow, Susan Bullock, Janis Kelly, Marie McLoughlin and Alan Opie premiere Iain Bell's new work, commissioned by ENO and Opera North.
Emma Jenkins' libretto focuses on themes of community and the power of women united against a common enemy, as well as questioning the hupocritical mores of 'respectable' society. Artistic director Daniel Kramer and Musical Director Martyn Brabbins lead this important new work in London's imposing Coliseum.
