Russian pianist Ilya Rashkovskiy performs demanding and famous masterworks by Beethoven and Mussorgsky at the Salle Gaveau in Paris.

The young pianist, who has won several international awards, takes up the challenge of playing the famous suite Pictures at an Exhibition, written in 1874 by Modest Mussorgsky as a tribute to his friend, the painter Viktor Hartmann. Also on the program of this recital, Beethoven's Hammerklavier Sonata gives Rashkovskiy ample opportunity to demonstrate his talent.
