Tess Amodeo‐Vickery after recording her first album in New York decided to move to Rome where she began a long creative period, recording several albums. Among the qualities that stand out listening to Tess emerge her talent as a songwriter and a refined musicality capable of producing arrangements enhanced by her talents as an instrumentalist and as a singer.
Tuesday, February 26 we find her driving a quintet full of swing with Red Pellini on sax, Alessio Magliari on piano, Marco Loddo on bass and Carlo Battisti on drums: between standard, famous songs and magnificent ballads, two hours to appreciate the most elegant side of jazz.
The Gregory's Jazz Club and the Salone Margherita inaugurate a new initiative for the 2018/2019 season! From 27 November 2018 on Tuesday at 21.00 the Gregory's Jazz Night will bring to the Salone Margherita every week a different band with guests among the leading exponents of the international jazz scene and some of the most talented Italian musicians.
The two historic venues just a few steps away from each other, have for years been the protagonists of quality entertainment in Rome, and today they join together to offer citizens and tourists an experience that looks back on the glorious past of jazz in theaters.
