Gala Concert 20 years radio klassik Stephansdom
About the Event
On the occasion of its 20th birthday, radio klassik Stephansdom is organising a festive concert in Vienna's Stephansdom. Established artists and representatives of the very young generation of musicians provide you with a unique concert experience.
Soprano Chen Reiss, singer couple Monica and Adrian Eröd will be joined by the Arnold Schönberg Choir conducted by Erwin Ortner and percussionist Christoph Sietzen. Other highlights of the evening will be provided by Peter Planyavsky, emeritiated organ professor and long‐standing cathedral organist with the Austrian premiere of his work 'Noch eine Toccata'. Organist Peter Frisée, who is responsible for the weekly programme 'Orgel City Vienna', performs as soloist and accompanist. The concert will be opened by the internationally sought‐after young star Emmanuel Tjeknavorian with Johann Sebastian Bach's Chaconne.
