Experience the famous countertenor Franco Fagioli and the celebrated ensemble Il Pomo d’Oro in works by Vinci, Händel and others at the beautiful Salle Gaveau in Paris.
Vocal agility, stunning high notes, astonishingly long range and a remarkable stage temperament, Franco Fagioli has in just a few years risen to the ranks of the few countertenors that count. He made himself a speciality of these arias of terrifying difficulty that Neapolitan composers wrote for the Farinelli or Carestini castrates. In an anthology of alternately pathetic and pyrotechnic tunes, the Argentinean singer meets his accomplices from the Pomo d'Oro for a recital in the form of fireworks.
