In this highly‐anticipated concert, hear the mellifluous sounds of chamber music by Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Schumann, Poulenc and Arban at Dresden's treasured and world‐renowned Annenkirche.

Works from the classical and romantic eras are on the programme of this unusual recital in the Annenkirche. Sergei Nakariakov, who comes from Gorky, today's Nizhny Novgorod, is currently regarded as perhaps the most virtuoso classical trumpeter in the world. In addition, with his second instrument, the flugelhorn, which he masters equally brilliantly, he brings a further musical colour to the concert hall. He will perform his programme together with the pianist Maria Meerovitch, who was also born in Russia and has been awarded renowned prizes — herself a sought‐after soloist and chamber musician in the European music metropolises.
