Though founded only a few years ago in Bologna, the Orchestra Mozart have already earned widespread recognition in Europe. At the Budapest Spring Festival they present works by Beethoven, Mozart and Haydn.

Sparkling concerts and recordings of an exceptionally fresh spirit have ensured an invariably enthusiastic reception for this assembly of young musicians, who work under the guidance of artistic director Claudio Abbado. The great conductors who have been happy to lead the orchestra have included John Eliot Gardiner, Trevor Pinnock and Frans Brüggen.
