The Teatro Romano di Verona is an ancient Roman theater located in the northern Italian city of Verona in Veneto. Built around 20 BC, it features a magnificent stage complex and expansive marble tiers. The theater is situated near the center of the old town on the left bank of the Adige, just downstream of the Ponte Pietra and north‐northeast of the Arena di Verona. Nestled at the foot of the Colle San Pietro with the Castel San Pietro, the theater's semicircle design opens towards the river.
