Concert Hall of Prague Conservatory
Prague, Czech Republic
The Prague Conservatory was the first conservatory in central Europe. Established in 1811. The plans of the building were developed by Bedřich Diviš Weber who was a composer, music pedagogue, and later also director of the Prague Conservatory. The Conservatory was inspired by similar institutions in Paris and Milan.
The new concert hall is situated in the inner courtyard of the main building of the Prague Conservatory, which is only a few steps away from the Rudolfinum.
