About the Event
Boni pueri is a world‐renowned Czech boys' choir founded in Hradec Králové in 1982. Since 1996, the artistic director of the ensemble has been Pavel Horák. From its very beginnings, the choir has established itself as one of Europe’s leading all‐boys' choirs, earning international acclaim for its exceptional vocal quality, discipline, and broad repertoire. The ensemble brings together talented boys who, under the guidance of experienced educators and conductors, cultivate their musical gifts. Their voices are celebrated for their clarity, precise intonation, and perfect blend. For this year's appearance at the Prague Proms festival, the choir, under the direction of choirmaster Vartan Agopian, has prepared an exceptional program containing various songs from many countries in their original languages.
