About the Event

Immerse yourself in the soulful world of Ludovico Einaudi, one of the most important and widely listened to composers of classical and neoclassical music. Presented by the outstanding pianist Burak Çebi, this evening will give Einaudi's compositions room to unfold their full effect. Look forward to works that can be heard in TV productions, documentaries, and feature films such as “The Intouchables” (2011).

With a unique ability to combine minimalism, pop, and classical structures, Einaudi creates an atmosphere that touches the soul and fills the room with an unforgettable mood. Some of his major works, such as “Nuvole Bianche,” “Una Mattina,” “Divenire,” and “Experience,” transport the audience into a world of emotions and reflection. Known from films such as “The Intouchables” (2011) and “The Water Diviner” (2014), these compositions are characterized by their impressive simplicity and emotional depth.

Burak Çebi is one of the most highly regarded pianists of his generation. With his poetic and introverted style of music‐making, he continues to captivate ever‐growing audiences. He regularly performs in major concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Leipzig Gewandhaus, Die Glocke in Bremen, Der Reitstadel in Neumarkt, and the Laeiszhalle Hamburg. His first album, Bright Spots, released in 2022 on the Prospero Classical label, in which he also appeared as a composer for the first time, received excellent reviews. Several features and interviews about his career have been broadcast on Radio rbb Kultur, Radio Klassik Wien, Radio France, Borusan Radyo Istanbul, TRT Radyo, and Turkish television.
