Touching people with his playing in such a way that they experience emotions that they sometimes lack in life – that is what Roman Borisov wants to give his audience. Like a grand crescendo, the young pianist, recently described by the press as a “rising star in the piano world,” transports the audience into a world of emotional intensity during his solo debut at the Kammermusiksaal Berlin.
With exceptional technique and a keen sense of dynamics and timbre, Borisov succeeds in conveying the inner depth of the compositions with every note – from cheerful moments to poetic sounds that touch the soul. This summit hike through the multifaceted musical landscapes of Romanticism impressively reflects the development of this outstanding young pianist, who reached the first significant milestone of his career three years ago when he won first prize at the Kissinger KlavierOlymp.
