About the Event
When you really think about it, Max Mutzke is more than just a single artist. Max Mutzke is many things. This may seem strange at first, but it has to do with the charismatic singer‐songwriter’s incredible versatility and, not least, his insatiable creative curiosity. Whether it’s pop, rock, soul, funk, or jazz—Mutzke possesses a thousand musical facets, which he effortlessly weaves into one of those styles that have become his trademark over the past one and a half decades. Mutzke has been making music since he was six years old. Having grown up in an artistically inclined household—his mother an actress, his father a doctor and jazz musician—he was able to explore all kinds of musical directions from a young age. Looking back, he describes his youth in the Black Forest—to which he has remained loyal to this day—as a picture‐perfect “Bullerbü idyll.” Following his successful anniversary tour in 2024, Max Mutzke will once again be touring throughout Germany with his band in 2026, playing 13 concerts as part of his “Live Tour 2026”—including one in Berlin. An evening featuring hits from the past 22 years and new songs that continue his musical journey.
