Khatia Buniatishvili at Philharmonie Berlin
Berlin, Philharmonie Berlin — Grosser Saal
About the Event
Her lyrical, luminous tone and seemingly boundless dynamic range are incomparable and unique. “Keyboard lioness” Khatia Buniatishvili is an exceptional phenomenon in international concert halls – her search for an inner connection to the work she plays and to the composer she interprets is intense and deeply personal: 'We are at the service of music and composers, but as mediators between them and the audience, we also reveal our own emotions. In a way, this makes us vulnerable, but at the same time it creates a deep, human connection,' said the Georgian pianist in an interview with BR‐Klassik.
