Kammerakademie Potsdam & Lisa Batiashvili at Philharmonie Berlin
Berlin, Philharmonie Berlin — Kammermusiksaal
About the Event
Lisa Batiashvili is an exceptional artist who creates new soundscapes with impressive intensity. In 2021, she fulfilled a personal dream: the establishment of the Lisa Batiashvili Foundation, through which she is committed to supporting young, highly talented Georgian musicians. One of these talents is pianist and composer Tsotne Zedginidze, born in 2009.
His Symphony No. 1, which received enthusiastic acclaim at its premiere in Salzburg, had its German premiere at the KAP. Lisa Batiashvili will also perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's most popular violin concerto, before François Leleux returns to the inexhaustible and wonderfully versatile music of Joseph Haydn. A moving concert evening that will linger in the memory for a long time to come.
