Christmas concert for organ, trumpet, and soprano: O Holy Night!

About the Event

Christmas is always a festive time around Berlin's Alexanderplatz. On December 26, the duo Daniel Schmahl (trumpet, flugelhorn, and corno da caccia) and internationally acclaimed soprano Anna Gütter invite you to St. Mary's Church for a festive and contemplative concert. Together with multiple award winner Ivan‐Bogdan Reincke on the organ, they will present a diverse range of compositions from the Baroque to the modern era. Whether in Christmas‐themed interplay between organ and trumpet, as a duo or solo, the lovingly selected pieces are dedicated to the festive character of the Christmas season and allow you to reflect on the here and now. A special highlight is the “Nutcracker Suite” by Peter I. Tchaikovsky, played by Ivan‐Bogdan Reincke on the organ.
