Bruce Liu: Piano Recital at Philharmonie Berlin
Berlin, Philharmonie Berlin — Kammermusiksaal
About the Event
Following his acclaimed Berlin debut in early 2024, Bruce Liu returns to the Chamber Music Hall. The young pianist with the “fingers of a magician” (Le Monde) impresses his audience with his cultivated and seemingly effortless piano playing as well as his flawless technique. His enthusiasm for every note and every phrase is outstanding, elevating him to the pantheon of artists to watch. His unbridled joy in playing is evident in his expressive facial expressions and his supple symbiosis with the instrument.
In 2021, Liu won the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw, joining an illustrious list of prize winners. Born in Paris to Chinese parents, the Canadian combines a cosmopolitan biography with boyish charm. In the Chamber Music Hall, he will devote himself to a demanding program of virtuoso piano compositions, which he will masterfully present with his usual playful ease and aplomb.
