About the Event

Since 1993, the five members of Sonus Brass from Austria have been dedicated to breaking away from concert clichés. Their ensemble, composed of trumpet, horn, trombone, and tuba, brings not only musical talent but also a touch of wit and emotion! They have gained recognition primarily for their exceptional music education concerts, which have won numerous awards. One of their most remarkable pieces is "Die Blecharbeiter" (The Brass Workers), which deeply resonates with children. The story revolves around five men who coincidentally meet after losing their jobs and facing an uncertain future. In an attempt to alleviate their boredom, they explore a heap of discarded metal. To their astonishment, the seemingly worthless junk produces a medley of sounds, rattling and clanging. These "old pipes" prove to possess individual and unique tones. At that moment, something magical occurs. The five men begin playing together, and thus, "The Brass Workers" come to life.
