Michel Tabachnik conducts Robert Schumann's "Pilgrimage of the Rose" at the Cité de la Musique in Paris.

"Pilgrimage of the Rose" is an oratorio that borrows from various other musical forms. It is a light, lyrical work that tells the fantastic tale of a rose in search of human love.
