Britten, Schnittke, Dvořák: Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin

About the Event

Bask in the bright glow and vitality shared by the works on this program at the chamber music hall of the Philharmonie Berlin. The Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin performs Britten, Schnittke, Ligeti, and Dvořák.

Schnittke used a piece of carnival music by Mozart as the starting point for for his piece 'Moz‐Art à la Haydn'. This lightness of the Viennese Classic was picked up by Dvořák, who added a Romantic touch to his work.
With their works 'Les Illuminations' and 'Ramifications', Britten and Ligeti bring out the diversity and range of string instruments.

Elias Grandy, conductor
Rinnat Moriah, soprano
