Ballet Nacional Sodre: Festival Castell Peralada 2019
About the Event
Allow yourself to be swept away by a tale of romance, passion and commitment to an ideal. The Uruguayan Ballet Nacional Sodre comes to Peralada for the first time with the classic tale of the wandering knight Don Quixote. In this newly created work, the figure of the dreaming knight merges with that of the dancers' countryman, Arturo E. Xalambrí, responsible for the creation of an extraordinary library, filled with an exceptional collection of Cervantes' works.
Under the stars, Don Quixote's eternal quest begins once again in the Castle Gardens open‐air auditorium. The magic of dance, and the sound of music inspired by the wandering knight through the ages, are sure to enchant you, in the warm night air of a Spanish summer.
