The Prometeo String Quartet performs music by Berg, Schubert and D'Amico.


Silver Lion 2012 at the Venice Music Biennale, the Quartetto Prometeo is one of the best quartets in the international field and has been indicated by critics as the heir of the historic Italian Quartet. He has played with great success at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, at the Musikverein in Vienna, at the Wigmore Hall in London and frequently collaborates with other famous musicians such as Mario Brunello, Alexander Lonquich and Lilya Zilberstein. He records for ECM, Sony and Brilliant. He performs the last Schubert Quartet — a sublime masterpiece of his extreme years — and the Berg Quartet, a fundamental page of the early 1900s. In addition, an absolute novelty by Matteo D'Amico, inspired by a poem by Mallarmé.
