New Year's Eve at Paris Opera Ballet: The Nutcracker

About the Event

Revel in the holiday tradition of "The Nutcracker". Rudolf Nureyev's famous interpretation of Tchaikovsky's enchanted tale is performed by the Paris Opera Ballet Company and the pupils of the Ballet School.

With "The Nutcracker", Tchaikovsky explores the realm of childhood. It is music of incomparable lyricism and originality, evoking a dreamlike and sometimes disturbing world of whirling snowflakes, myriad flowers, and dancing sugar plum fairies.
