About the Event
Renowned Brazilian pianist Nelson Freire brings his interpretation of Chopin's great romanticism to the Auditori in Barcelona under the baton of Josep Pons, who also conducts Brahms’ Second Symphony and a work by the Catalan composer Manuel Blancafort.
At the age of 20, Chopin had already written his two piano concertos, works full of grace – and virtuosity – which he used as performance vehicles in Vienna and Paris.
