About the Event

Experience the passion of a pianist dedicated to a perfect performance.

Kasík brings the same intensity to his hobby, chess, as he does to his piano performance, and it has paid off: he won numerous awards as a young pianist, and continues his successful career on the stage, as well as directing the Chopin Festival in Mariánské Lázně (Marienbad).

In 2005, he toured the US with the Prague Symphony Orchestra, but tonight is invited to give a solo recital. The programme features Beethoven's "Moonlight" sonata, and works by Ravel and Prokofiev.
