About the Event

Mobília is a cantata that revolves around mobile communication and the devices that make it possible: mobile phones.

Cantiga Choir and Terrassa 48 Chamber Orchestra take the audience on a musical journey through significant situations and moments in life associated with the mobile phone, exploring the feelings that mobile phone possession (or lack thereof!) might cause.

With passion, irony and humor, Mobília depicts both the drama and emotion of our dependence on mobile phones.

Mobília experiments with unusual stage direction: the singers, the choir and even the musicians move around the stage playing with their mobile phones… all with the intention to build a dynamic and entertaining show, and above all to provoke a poignant reaction from audiences.
